Diana PP800R (regulated Diana Bandit) in .177: how much energy is practical?

I am just wondering whether anyone has a trick to reduce HST (or just hammer energy) on a .177 Daystate Wolverine. I already backed up the striker all the way, but the hammer still have too much energy. Thanks in advance for any tips.
