I agree with you. The manometers are more of a distraction when they are sticking out like they do. I understand why they did it but I think it's a classic case of trying too hard.

Recently purchased a veteran 2 from Tony. The cocking lever feels like it is housed in oil. By far the smoothest of any gun I’ve ever owned. In typical Taipan fashion it has a great trigger as well. It’s also extremely accurate. Very pleased with it.

Interesting. So when you removed the two screws, the cocking lever wouldn’t come completely out??

I don’t have a Vet 2 but it looks like all you have to is remove the two screws and move the lever to the other side. When you move the lever to the left side you will also have to flip it over.
