    I didn't want to be the bringer of negative news but, usually if the hardener don't "kick" it never will.....If you wait a couple of weeks, it could eventually dry?

    Joedirt199 got me to dig this up......Of course you don't have the flat surface area but wouldn't be hard to improvise.

    That come along nicely.....Those water stains were quite deep? I'd try a dark stain, you may have to do it in layers letting each coat dry completely.
