Traditional Rifle Two Webley Patriots (UK made)

From the left is a 22 cal Webley with a gasram installed. Shots great but no sights and I never installed a scope on it. This one has been modded a bit with shortened barrel and refinished stock. The safety was removed to fit the ram. I bought a lot of rifles and this one was in there. The...

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

That makes perfect sense now. Even though the grips are crudely put together, it makes the gun really stable.

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

Here's now bad she was butchered by the previous owner(s).... I'll be working on making new grips for her.

    N/A Whiscombe JW80 MK2

You're right Mike. That's pretty much why I sold my 80 years back. They are fun to shoot though once you get the hang of cocking 'em. I kept my 50 tip barrel in .177 but it's been shot so much the barrel is a bit wobbly now that accuracy is not there anymore. One year, I'll get brave and try to...

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

Gentlemen, Thanks for all the help and suggestions. I took the front three pins out, removed the sledge and related parts, cleaned and lubed all those little parts. Put her back together and now she shoots like a dream! Zeke

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

I haven't taken anything from the trigger apart except the round piece in the back to remove the endcap and spring. Like I said it was working fine, except weak as heck, before the seals. Now I have a paper weight, at least for now anyway.

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

Here's the best I could do on pics. I'll take it apart next weekend and hopefully figure out what's wrong and be able to put it back together! Thanks for all the help.

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

Ok thanks. I'll work on her next weekend and see what I can do. It has been tinkered with before. Previous owner(s) cut the metal pistol grip to allow for the grips to fit. It'll be in my tackle box from now on so looks are irrelevant.

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

Everything is intact. I haven't cleaned anything in the trigger compartment and I'm thinking that might be the problem. I think my next step is to take the trigger/sledge mechanism apart, clean and lube. I'll report on those efforts.

    FWB FWB 65 pistol question

I have to pull this part up with a pick and it will allow the gun to close and fire.
