Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

The Delta has the same tube and lenses as the Trijicon. I believe the poor clarity of my Trijicon comes down to quality control. I had a friend of mine who shoots the same matches I do, and owns a Golden Eagle, look through the Trijicon. He concurred with me regarding its poor clarity. He went...

Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

My new Trijicon Tenmile 5-50x56 poohed the bed. I sent a repair request to Trijicon this morning. Here’s what I wrote to Trijicon in the repair description. Reason for Repair Request: I purchased this scope new from an online retailer and it arrived to me on Monday, 1/8/24. I had an...

What's everyone use to fill their PcP's

I use an Omega 75 ft tank with Carette II compressor. It filled my 75 ft tank from 2,800 to 4,500 psi in 14 minutes.

Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

So true! Way back in the day I had a Nikon Tactical 2.5-10x. It had a mil dot retical with .25 MOA clicks. It drove me nuts.

I watch Texas Plinkers too. Good channel! I've watched them shoot and notice sometimes they do hold overs and sometimes they dial, but mostly do holdovers. In the 25 meter matches that I participate in, very few if any of us dial turrets. There's simply not very much time to do so and the wind...

Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

Bigragu, I did take a look at the Delta Stryker 5-50. I paid $1780 delivered for the Trijicon. The cheapest I found for the Stryker was $1590. They are essentially the same scope with some slight differences. The reason I choose the Trijicon was it's an American company that is serviced in the...

Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

In my last 25m competition, a couple of weeks ago, I used my ATACR 7-35. While it performed well, the .1 mil clicks were just too course. Also, I would have preferred that the center dot on ATACR was smaller.

After further consideration, I'm tending to agree with you, especially since it has a center dot.

At 50 yards each click would be .086” (mil) vs .062” (MOA). However, the most one would be off at that range is only half of those numbers (.043” mil vs .031” (MOA)). The range that I shoot at is Rio Salado, which is always windy. It’s the same range that is used by Extreme Benchrest annual...

Please help me decide- MOA vs Mil for benchrest

I shoot 25 meter benchrest and may at some point start shooting the 50 yard bench rest. I have an FX Impact M3, .22 cal. Anyway, I have decided that I would like to purchase the Trijicon Tenmile 5-50x scope for my benchrest shooting. My quandary is which reticle to choose. I currently own mil...
