    .254 are extremely tight, so much so that you have to jam them in and get them just right or they poke out a bit and lock up the cylinder .253 work better, still tight but not ridiculously so. I like the 44 gr NSA.

    Im new at this so maybe doing it wrong, but I tried the AVS slugs in .254 (48gr) and yes, they work (840 fps 75 fpe). But, they are so tight you can easily get the cylinder stuck and MAN!! that can be a real pain in the ass to get unstuck. I find the .253 works well, though I haven't chronid...
