What do you think of this new AEA M50 Pistol

I like the m50 a lot. I have a 5 inch, just picked up a 22 inch and I'm thinking about getting a 13 inch barrel to put on the 5 inch version. I've had really similar power numbers to yours. I use mr hollowpoint 216 grain .45, they work great.

    AEA 95 Cal

I want one, but those numbers can't be right. A 500gr at 900fps is around 900fpe. To get to 4000fpe you'd have to shoot a 1700 grain slug at 1000fps. If the 7k air tube can really make 4000fpe that's impressive, but 4000fpe sounds unobtainable unless it dumps the entire tube of air in 1 shot...

AEA Zues smooth bore pattern testing photos

I discovered the secret from the new serpent arms 28ga shell design. By putting holes in the bottom of the shell the air can blow the glued paper cap off the shell, which allows the shot to leave the wad. Without the holes the wad flies out like a slug. Also too much glue on the cap will cause...

AEA Zues smooth bore pattern testing photos

I used these targets because they were the biggest splatter burst ones I had, and my backstop is plate steel and wood so it's incredibly safe for shot loads. I wasn't trying to imply using this in any way other than hunting or target practice and in the future I will not use targets that look...

AEA Zues smooth bore pattern testing photos

All of these shots were made at 10 yards, I would say I've figured it out. :D 1st photo is steel #1 shot, 2nd photo BBB lead shot in neck area above steel shot pattern. 3rd photo 00 buckshot, 4th photo steel #1 shot using a different shell design. I still need to try some different chokes...

AEA Tested smooth bore Zues 72 today!

That's from the smooth bore zeus at 15ft. That's a 1.5" shell filled with steel #1 shot. The problem is trying to get the shell to release the shot and not leave as one solid piece like it did with that big hole above the pattern. I'm trying to find a way for the card wad that keeps the shot in...

Benjamin Prod trigger change overnight by itself!

No. That was me... I have removed most of it. I was using a big tube and it came out really fast.

Thank you so much for those photos. I had the trigger put back on the spring incorrectly and saw how to do it correct from your photo, very helpful, thanks.

Talon tunes gen6 6 inch on escape ss .22, no noise reduction?

I thought that rule was in regard to making and modifying things, not asking general questions about the function of them. So now even discussing moderators is a no no?

Talon tunes gen6 6 inch on escape ss .22, no noise reduction?

Anyone put a 6 inch on their .22 escape ss? I was getting 117db before. I'm getting 117db now at 1200psi. I filled the gun to 2900psi, it's making 121db. The quality is top notch, fit great. But other than that I'm not seeing the point of the 6 inch moderator. Made the gun heavier, longer, more...

Do I really need any more airguns....because i keep wanting to buy another & my wife's had enough??

I promised myself when all 12 rifle slots were full in the rack I installed in a closet I would stop buying. Then I started hanging pistols on the wall and now I'm out of room on the walls also. I wish this house had bigger closets... :D

What did you do airgun related today.

just got here today so I mounted a bugbuster on it and have been zeroing it in. they seem to be a decent scope for close/intermediate range, especially for the price. I'm always a little nervous using an HPA bottle as a stock though, just something about that much pressure being pressed against...

The one that is missing is for the second stage adjustment I believe from the diagrams I found. It's working but it takes a really long pull now, but that's better than not working at all. Now if I can find the screw for sale somewhere is the question.

that's the screw on the trigger that was almost all the way unscrewed. There is another hole next to it that has no screw, maybe it fell out... great design! Edit to add: I bought this gun because it was cheap and had lots of parts available so I guess I can't be too upset. It really is a...

Benjamin Prod trigger change overnight by itself!

So the little screw backed out from the bottom of the trigger. I screwed it back in and now it works, but there is a second threaded hole in the trigger that is empty. Idk if a screw fell out of it in thinking so. It seems to work now, although without a safety. :D the little ball bearing was...

Benjamin Prod trigger change overnight by itself!

Yesterday the trigger was normal, you pull it and it fires. Today it is different. I pull it and I feel a small click and nothing happens. Then when I let off the trigger it fires. I changed nothing. Anyone know why this would happen? It's almost more accurate now, but I'm really curious what...

    Lead free pest control.

All of the lead from every air gunner combined on the plant probably equals a fraction of 1% of what chevron or shell polluted in a single day. Let the lead fly! :D

How hard would it be to build your own air rifle?

I really want to find someone to build me a .100 cal tripod air cannon but have had no luck so far.
