What pistol did you shoot today

Shot these two...I know how accurate the FWB P8X is but the Crosman Mk2 held it's own!

What pistol did you shoot today

    I don't have a 65 but my 80 is just a "thunk".

What pistol did you shoot today

Yes, that counts! Here's my version with a newly installed TKO moderator, which is perfect. This is my set up for curly-tailed lizards. They are fat, ugly and invasive. Took out 4 earlier, missed one. Should have posted it in the "headshot" thread ;-).

What pistol did you shoot today

Too hot to shoot outside, so broke out my 3 springer pistols to shoot dots at 15 feet in my air conditioned garage. Off-hand so I didn't actually hit the dots ;-), but very close with the FWB 80...

    Improvements?

I have the Sarissa, it's massive but extremely effective. I should have ordered the Falx...

    30-Yard Challenge

Some amazing cards, my competitive nature is killing me. But in South Florida the shooting season is in the winter. Just had to comment though, @tommyb this card is amazing to me. I live for "X's" that are literally dead center. I know that 10's win, but when you hit dead center it's like the...

    N/A Target air pistols

Three of my 4 target pistols, the other one is a 1701P. These are all extremely accurate. The FWB 80 is new to me. Really amazing, esp since it is a springer. My first shot with it, off hand at 15 feet (my garage "range") was a bullseye without even adjusting the sights. The P8X, though, is a...

What pistol did you shoot today

Shot my two favorite semi-automatics. Both are amazing in their own ways...

    30-Yard Challenge

The power adjustment is just a dial that is indexed and simple. I’ve tested those pellets in the past at different velocities and the 510 didn’t like them. The adjustment doesn’t always allow you to be in that precise fps range, though. I have done well with the JTS 10.4, Benjamin 10.5, and the...

    30-Yard Challenge

Shot two cards with the .177 Black Wolf using the JSB 16.2's. Did a bit better, was not in a hurry. There was one crazy flyer. I have a port restrictor coming from AoA so we'll see how it goes with lighter pellets at standard velocities. Also tried those 16.2's in my AA S510XS at its highest...

What springer did you shoot today?

My eyes require magnification. And that rifle demands it at 30 yds...

What springer did you shoot today?

I haven't shot my springers for awhile. Summer in S. Florida is not kind to outdoor sports...but today I had a bit of time before the sun went down that was not brutal ;-). So I chose my .177 HW30 with a custom stock and my FWB 150. Still obsessed with the FWB, and it delivered!

    30-Yard Challenge

    My thoughts, exactly!

    30-Yard Challenge

You would think with all that adjustment it would be easy. But this rifle has more power than necessary, even with the lightest spring. I had to degas the rifle and adjust the reg to 85 just to get the velocities less than 1000 with standard (13.4ish) pellets. So right now it's on "minimum" and...

    30-Yard Challenge

@tommyb You are too hard on yourself. Your 199 15X definitely counts! I'm sure that Ed and the others will agree....And that's some great shooting. I finally had some less than 95 degree time before dark. Unfortunately the temp dropped because a storm was threatening so the wind picked up a...

To me (us) it's like losing a family member, my condolences.

Daystate Black wolf: I'm not lazy, but...

So I have an update...I was trying to minimize trial and error, and I appreciate all the help. But Karma ia a bitch. First of all, I actually have the 23 inch barrel (couldn't remember what I ordered). And when I started testing standard .177 pellets (10.4ish and 13.4ish) all I could get was FPS...

Free target style wood grips with Crosman 1701p purchase

The 1701P is very accurate and worthy of a target grip. Almost as accurate as a true 10 Meter Olympic style pistol. At 1/3-1/4 the price. The only caveat is that it does not come with a rear sight. I ordered my rear Williams sight from Ebay. Many put a red dot or even a scope on it. I like open...

Daystate Black wolf: I'm not lazy, but...

Yeah, the fpe with the tested pellets was 31+. I definitely don't need that kind of power since I really just want to punch paper accurately at 30 or 40 yards...

Daystate Black wolf: I'm not lazy, but...

Thanks! I didn't think about slugs, but I have a few I could try, but not the one mentioned. The others you mentioned I have on my short list. I was hoping it would like the JTS 10.4 or the JSB 10.3's. Cheers! I will report later after some testing.
