FX Maverick - Saber Tac bag rider install?

The post that goes into the grip, the loop part is made smaller and goes right in the FX grip. You don’t need to buy any adapters at all. The stock grip screw is M6x20, I used a M6x25 to make up for the post thickness difference and was spot on. Thanks everyone, it works great!

N/A new backyard pcp rifle under 500

18.1 at 880 fps will hit harder at 30 than 14.3 going 1060, at that speed the pellet slows down very quickly and accuracy is not comparable. Worth a tin to test out. Also the 18.1 can be shot a little faster at 910 fps if need be.

FX Maverick 600 .22cal settings problems

You can’t tune for 2 pellets(you can but…), it’s best to pick a heavier pellet and shoot a lighter slug and not touch anything. You should tune for the 25.39 and could turn down the PW for the 18.1 but ES/SD will not be good. In your case with that heavy hammer, shooting the 18.1 is not a good...

FX I broke my newly acquired Wildcat MK3...please help (Updated - everything is good to go)

Ya, stuff happens. A lot of people have blown a regulator right out of the box, taken it apart as soon as it came home, to make it “better” etc… I agree, probably was already messed up. My maverick was brand new and had a messed up top rail and leaked down slightly.

Probably should replace the bottle oring also, along with the bottle adapter.

FX I broke my newly acquired Wildcat MK3...please help (Updated - everything is good to go)

Silicone is bad on metal to metal contact and will seize up. Use normal grease, gun oil anything but silicone on the threads. Use silicon on the nipple part that the oring seals to only.

    Help with Kraford and Lypt

They didn’t know a lot about a product I inquired about, kinda strange as they actually produce them. I didn’t feel comfortable ordering for a premium price.

Brocock/BRK BRK Sniper XR Magnum .25 Cal

I almost bought one in .22 but I wanted to shoot the 25.39 MRD and it was a little under powered for that pellet. If it wasn’t for that, I would have and I’m pretty sure it is built better than my Maverick.

FX FX Maverick as 1st PCP?

The Mav is my first PCP and I don’t regret going with a higher end rifle. It’ll shoot all the heavy projectiles you want, unlike the cheaper options. I still think about getting a Ghost sometimes, but my Mav VP .22 is doing really well so far.

    FX Fx drs barrel

Why does this rifle have a powder burner ”magazine”, doesn’t seem like a good idea. Looks even worse with the MDT chassis, it’s not going to be a trainer for PRS PB because of no recoil, balance etc…

FX Maverick - Saber Tac bag rider install?

They say it needs bent and straightened to fit the Maverick has anyone installed one? I tried to find a diy version. I have a idea of using the triangles in the butt pad to put 1/4-20 bolts through and bolt on a short L shaped 1/2” PVC pipe to the side. I use a squeeze bag for the rear on all...

    shooting both eyes open ?

You can hybrid it and use both eyes to find and align your target and close one right before the shot, you get all the benefits and still feel confident in your shot, while training yourself.

    STO Sarissa

I wanted to mention, I have noticed no accuracy issues with the Falx, since now I’ve put few hundred pellets down range.
