Thanks for the reply. I am just getting started, so it helps to hear about what works and what doesn’t. That’s great advice. I think I will check it out.

    Gamo 10 shot repeater

Thanks @MOhunter- that is a great video, especially for anyone just getting started. I would have been holding my gun incorrectly, and unaware of the overall variation in the accuracy that would create. Ha! After a few hundred shots, I probably would be attributing it to the gun or pellet. Thx

just curious, when people talk about breaking in the airgun, and measuring shots from 25 yards, etc. - are these based on shots without anything to support it, like a stand or tripod?

    Gamo 10 shot repeater

@Rhinorider hey… did you end up getting that .177 Gamo airgun? To answer your question: I have no experience with that Gamo model. Just what I’ve read and heard from others. For me, as a beginner… my Gamo is gateway airgun… I expect it to last long enough and work well enough to have fun...

    Quieting a metal pellet trap

    Gamo 10 shot repeater

Thanks for clarifying that potential issue with the magazine. I did not realize much of this is preventable. People make it sound like it is “defective” or “cheap” component- it sounds like people work with it like it’s made of metal. What is your experience with “breaking in” the gun? Is...

    Gamo 10 shot repeater

If you want a rifle for recreational shooting, to pick off the occasional vermin, or to get started in the airgun field, Gamo seems like a safe bet. They do have 3 out top 10 air rifles in the recreation category. It does depend on the model. I did some research on Gamo.. there are a few useful...

    Gamo 10 shot repeater

I have a couple of gamo swarm fusion 10x gen3i .22 caliber 10-shot rifles. Just opened one up When you say if the mag fails, the whole gun needs to go back to Gamo… that is only if you have a warranty claim, correct? Maybe just the magazine goes kaput. I was actually about to get a few extra...

Where do you live and do you like it there?

We live in central Ohio, and we like it. The Columbus area has a diverse economy and decent people. There are quite a bit of outdoor spaces like lakes and parks. Next to no snakes. A little on the cloudy side. Decent bang for your buck on real estate. Good luck in your search!

Where did the report post feature go

Is the “report post” feature one of those things that a new member can only do after we get through 10days and 10posts? I don’t see the button whether screen is upright or horizontal. Didn’t try PC yet
