Here's a picture of my 3622 with the AGM moderator & fill hose. The moderator direction say to put it an inch onto the barrel, it's a tight fit so I hthink that as long as the set screw can touch the barrel it would be okay which would gain about 1/2" more room for the foster connector..

@NorCal David you could also use an extension hose like I do, would be a few more pumps to get it filled wit air. I got it so I could have the gun higher than the pump to help keep moisture out of my guns.

I have the moderator off mine right now & the front blade back on. I use a 18” braided hose to extend the fill hose on my compressor, the fitting on the end is pretty bulky & it fits without issues. Here’s a photo of my hose next to a ruler maybe that will help you determine if your pump will work.

Those are some good looking grips really classes up the 1701p

Just got a 1701p about a week ago and it isn't very pellet picket at all mine seems to prefer pellets in the 8 gr range. Makes me look like a better shooter than I really am. You can get one from Amazon for a decent price https://a.co/d/j3ww3RU

My new Crosman 1701p was not setting the valve if I bleed off the air slowly, it would actually bleed off all the air. I found that you have to open the bleed valve on the compressor fast to set the valve on the gun.
