Looks like cleaning the barrel was a major part of it, another thing is I put the harmonic dampener back on and it started shooting a nice group at 50 yards. I tightened it up by slightly closing the valve and got a nice 10 shot group with me screwing up on the last shot, these were at 895fps...

No it was around the same temps. Maybe that's why the 34gr Javelin is sold out lol I might try to find some and give those a try. Sucks cause I know I had it shooting good.

Ok so I just ran some patches thru with Ballistol and it seems to have stopped the keyholing. I did some tuning and I got a few holes pretty tight but would then get some thrown in a complete different area. Would switching to a lighter grain slug be easier to tune?

Forgot to add that I did dry run a snake thru, without the brass brushes of course. Thanks.

Isn't the recommended way of degassing your gun, to dry fire it until it starts bleeding out from the bottle inlet? It usually takes a few shots for it to start bleeding, that would mean you're firing below the setting of your second reg, so how is it bad?

Thanks, I'm not too flustered with it since I still have my M3 to shoot and wouldn't mind sending it in. FX sent me a new hammer, not the hammer weight, which had some burrs on it and I guess it was hanging up and causing those inconsistencies.

Yeah I just seen that post from them and was wondering the same thing. I'm hoping it is but I'll give Utah Air a call and see for sure.

That was a completely different issue which changing the hammer seems to have solved. The previous issue was the gun drastically changing velocity every shot going from 900 to 600ish within a few shots. The Huma regs didn't solve that issue but the refill rate is now faster and I no longer...

I think you may be correct. I love my M3 and have been setting that up for long range shooting with 40gr slugs but was hoping to use this WC for lighter slugs and pellets at the same time depending on what I'm shooting at. Unfortunately it ain't working out so far:rolleyes:

Yes I notice the pressure drops about 5 bar between full tank 300 bar and lower 200 bar. Starts off at 120 bar and then only goes to 115ish once the tank pressure drops. I'll check on that and change it out, thanks!
