My fx m3 was shooting 24 gr slug at 1040. So it will produce the power. At 40 Gr Ken Hicks says no problem at 900-960. So we will see. LW says they can make the inside diameter whatever I want so now trying to see what ID land and groove combo will be best for standard ATP 40 gr slugs at .217!

Shoot 22 gr FX hybrid slugs at 100 today. Did very well. Slight wind but all in a horizontal line. That’s the slug it likes. Like to go up in weight in same slug config. Think the hybrid skirt works to seal and stabilize. Any suggestions on similar slugs?? Say in 30 gr to 32?

Oh, I have understood that some have used silicone. It would hold in place maybe but still transmits vibration. Thinking solid is more preferred.

How about a thin layer of JB Weld between the barrel and tensioning kit. Brake cleaner use to clean the surfaces. Spread a thin layer to fill gap and install. Wipe off any excess and tighten up tensioning screw. Let it set up evenly. This may well stiffen it to max in place of metal. Fx could...

A tuner would be more effective if the barrel had NO Movement Or as little as possible. Hence the stainless theory. I have them on all my powder rifles and they do work. However following some of the best say they are a little finicky tells me the barrel flexes .

I discussed these with SPAW in Euler Fla. Ken has helped me build this FXM3. He stated that when you fill your bottle it expands and contracts and it could change poi. Anyone else had that experience?
