    GX CS4-I question(s)

There was a small batch of compressors with defective circuit boards. Mine was one of them and after troubleshooting with GX they sent me a replacement board and my intermittent early stoppages went away.

Benjamin does a hammer kit help much for a Benjamin Marauder ?

What worked for me was the Hill hammer and his light hammer spring. It really didn't make it smoother to cock because it stacks at the end of the cocking stroke due to it being a shorter stiffer spring. But it eliminated the hammer bounce and gave me a 100+ shot count for plinking.

GX-CS4-I: Buy from Amazon vs. GX?

Amazon if you don't want to fuss I have bought 2 compressors directly from GX. One has been trouble free, the other I had problems which GX helped me solve, but I had to put the testing in and install their provided parts. I was OK with it considering the discount and I don't mind turning a...

    Fill hose

Does your Alpha filter have the upper bleed valve option? You need that bleeder past the PMV.

A touch of help needed on Kratos

I had the same thing happen on my Gunnar. I had to pull out the hammer and pick/scrape out the residual pellets. The hardest part was picking out the pellets that mashed around the poppet stem. I did it gassed up. The next time it happened it was really bad (my son had let a bunch drop while...

GX customer service how long to wait?

I googled Chinese May holidays and it's their Labor Day week so maybe that explains it.

GX customer service how long to wait?

When I had to contact them I just replied to the email they sent me confirming my order, which was helpful to them because it includes the order number and date of purchase. They got back to me within a couple of days (time/date line adds a delay). This was a few weeks ago and they took care...

    Gx filter is here

If you fill tanks then I suggest to rig the filter so it's above the compressor. I have my non GX filter rigged on a stand so the GX hose runs up to the filter inlet to promote any condensate to drain back to the compressor's water trap. I feel that it limits the amount of moisture that goes...

    blowback pistol slide lubing

On that gun the CO2 system is in the magazine. For the magazine you can put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of the CO2 cartridge every few cartridges, or you can use Crosman Pellgun oil (which is nondetergent motor oil if you read up on it). Use whatever you want in the gun. Too thick...

Acecare 300 bar carbon fiber tank, what valve?

I have their dual gauge valves on two of their tanks, it's the black one, the first option on your screenshot. I like them because they have a one-way fill valve, and the second gauge that lets me know the tank pressure I prefer this to dead heading a single gauge valve. I can slow fill with...

GX CS4-i First time turning on

I tilted it while running to the front, like 1900colt posted in this forum, and it got out a lot of air. Later GX had me run the water pump and tilt it left and right 90 degrees as part of a troubleshooting procedure, but I didn't notice any more air purging, but that s was after I rotated my...

GX CS4-i First time turning on

I fill mine to just above the recirculation outlet. That leaves a bit of air space at the fill cap. I can still see flow through the cap, no need for LEDs for me. These don't run that hot so I don't see a need for a lot of expansion room. Make sure you work the bubbles out of the system...

    Benjamin Marauder Regulator

This is not an SSG solution, but you can still get Hill lightweight hammers, lighter hammer springs (SSS), lighter valve springs. That may help but if you want a lot of power you may not get it with the stock regulator. I looked at mine when I had a leak, and there is almost no plenum volume...

Calling all pcp nerds: Torque Wrenches

I use the Wheeler manual FAT wrench, but usually just for mounting scopes. It comes with a limited selection of bits, but it takes any standard bits and extensions. After using it I learned that I probably made things way tighter than they need to be. For PCPs I don't think you need to really...

I SEE THE ADVANAGE TO HAVING ONLY ONR GUN. O ring question...

Yep, The O-rings Store. But I only buy the he sizes I need. They have a downloadable grid you can print, place an o-rings on, and use a phone app that will estimate the size. I use this as a double check of my measurements or the manufacturer part call out. If you to an get a schematic of...
