Thanks for this. I did this to miy Dynamic after reading this post and it seems to have gotten rid of my reg creep entirely.I also had a small dimple in my piston. I only had up to 5000 grit, so I wet sanded it to that as I didn't have anything handy that was finer. It seems to have worked...

Same, have Hatsan right now with a barrel that is bored at .308 with a really tight choke that can't hit a wall.

Yeah that's def. a lot of energy. That's all the way into 30 cal territory.

That's a lot of energy from a 25 cal, a little tuning you might get it over 100 fpe

I need to take a peek at mine, mine creeps overnight by 5-10 bar, and it refreshes a little slow. I figured it would break in sooner or later.

I'm happy I'm in the US, a lot of the international airgun regulations really stink. I think I saw that Germany was limited to 5 or 6 ft lbs.

Maybe consider a rebarrel down the road for 30 cal... There is more surface area for the air to work on in a 30 for those weights, so it's more efficient, although the bc would be better in a 25 for the same slug weight. A 60 gn .25 must be a looonnnnggg slug 😂

55 and 60 gn slugs are pretty heavy per caliber for a 25, if you shoot in the 30 to 40 gn range you would definitely get better shot counts...

I haven't tried any AVS yet. I was actually going to order some .3033 and .3063 to try in a pos Hatsan with an overbored barrel the other day but they are on vacation and you can't add anything to the cart right now.

The 54gn H&Ns group just as good as the hybrids. Those Rifle 60s group great for me too, but they chamber kind of tight. Strange because even the 68s chamber smoothly. They shoot great though,.. the H&Ns are also .301, and they come in 50 and 54....

Lol yah mine loves those hybrids too, at 1030 to 1050 they are laser beams. Literally one hole. It's crazy breaking 100 fpe with only 44.5 gn. Too bad they are so hard to find in stock in 30, everyone has the 22s and 25s 😂

As an fyi, I chrono'd the .300 68s, not the .301s, I did shoot some 301s through it though and it didn't even change the point of impact, it felt exactly the same.

Mine might have the 8mm in it too then, I called FX and asked them and they said the 30 came with 6mm stock, but I haven't checked. Maybe I was misinformed too...

I did shoot 60g Rifle brand slugs, 60g, 64gn and 68gn Javelins. The 68s were shooting around 890 ish, but the gun was tuned differently at the time. I didn't chrono the 60 and 64gn slugs... I'm running a 580 in front, and the 480 stock bottle in back. I haven't really counted shots before...

What if you turn the hammer up at your reg setting right now without raising the reg? On my gun it seems like I get a lot of speed difference between 3 and 4...
