After fill, fine whatever. After sitting for an hour, for a hunting gun, not acceptable.

Well, it seems the oil in the fill probe made its way to the valve overnight. Now first shot is 890+fps but it's still having excessive fps swings of +-12ish.

I’ve tried so many variations, this isn’t a tune problem but thanks.

Just put a couple drops of super lube in it and went through a tin of 200. Actually seems like it is getting worse. Going from 850 to 800 fps now just between shots without sitting. It used to "warm up" and run fine after the first mag. Guess I tear it down or send it in.

Is there a way to improve that without disassembly? Maybe some oil in the fill port and a couple hundred more pellets?

Hello all, I was discussing this in another thread but it seems like my issue must be slightly different. I have a Panthera .22 Compact and the first shot is always 40-80fps slow after sitting for an hour or more. The regulator the gun came with had 5-8 bar reg creep which made the issue worse...

What reg pressure? 110 bar I was getting +-15 fps swings. At 120 it’s closer to 3 fps swings but the reg creeps bad at that pressure. At 110 it didn’t budge.

The FX is borderline junk. The hinge bolt comes loose and the set screw is milled on the wrong side of the buffer tube. Not sure about KL but I need to send an email to FX to see if they’ve fixed it in the newer versions.

The FX brand DonnyFL is almost exactly the same size as the shroud so it looks great

It’s not marketed as a slug shooter but it shows higher fpe with slugs so that’s why they have the “up to” stats there. You can do it, but you’ll have a better time with the slug versions of the gun if that’s what you want to do. (600-700mm models with the slug twist rate)
