    FX FX King ??

Did you consider using 'reach forward rings'? The bit of extra room they offer can be all it takes.

    Raccoon- Benjamin Trail NP XL

From what I remember from owning that model of airgun, it wasn't particularly accurate. Most likely because of the very heavy and gritty trigger mine had, in combination with the low quality bundled scope. Because of the lack of power you're shooting that 34gr pellet at quite the arc. Combine...

    JTS pellets - specs?

I was starting to think those JTS pellets in anything else than 18gr were vaporware. The 18gr ones are available in Europe but I haven't seen any other grain weights. I'm also curious to see what they can do at 50m. JSB MRD's are erratic at best these days. Shooting a 10-shot group, 8 will fly...

FX Wildcat Barrel Carbon Liner, are there 2 or 3 O-Rings?

My Impact sniper also had two o-rings on the liner and my Panthera 500 only one, while it should've been three and two o-rings. Indeed very strange for what should be the higher echelon of airguns.

FX Wildcat Barrel Carbon Liner, are there 2 or 3 O-Rings?

My Maverick VP only had two o-rings around the liner. Looked for a third one inside the shroud but I couldn't it.

FX Polishing of belleville washers and the piston & piston housing

I polished the contact surfaces of the AMP reg in my Panthera and it helped the reg settling down. Before it would creep 10+ bar overnight. In my opinion it shouldn't be necessary to do such 'finishing jobs' yourself. The gun costs enough to have it finished from the factory.

FX Mav, imp, king or keep the crown?

The Maverick VP has a 600mm barrel.

FX Mav, imp, king or keep the crown?

FX liners are interchangeable between different models, as long as that model supports liners. So yes, you can put the same liner in an Impact, a Maverick and a Crown. If you change calibers, keep in mind the liner isn't the only thing you need to swap out.

FX Mav, imp, king or keep the crown?

If you have a heavy liner on order, wait for it and give the ZAN slugs a try with your Crown. You can always buy an extra gun if the Crown doesn't satisfy your needs.

Superior or superior heavy .22 Jsb Monster Redesigned?

There is an overview of FX liners and twist rates floating around on AGN that states the STX heavy is required for projectiles over 23gr in .22. I'm also testing JSB monster redesigned pellets in my 700mm Impact at the moment and they seem fine with the normal STX liner. I'm wondering if FX is...

FX Panthera first shot low FPS

I recently also acquired an Impact M3 and I'm noticing the same lower velocity on the first shot issue, although less pronounced. Maybe it's just an FX thing.

When New Members or Old Members with Low Post Counts…..

Frauds have always been around where there's money to be made. Personally, I never have second hand goods shipped to me. If it's too far to pick it up myself, I just keep looking. If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't true. And when in doubt, C4 just walk away.

    FX New member

With the second reg at 95 bar (factory setting on my M3 700mm), I get 18gr JSB's just bellow 900fps by restricting the valve adjuster quite a bit. Macro and micro are 8 and 3 respectively (also factory setting).

FX Panthera first shot low FPS

I recognize this issue from my Panthera 500. The first shot is always slower, even with a fully polished reg and zero creep. Watch some videos of competition shooters with Pantera's. They always take a 'purging shot' before starting to launch pellets/slugs.

    Panthera 22 reg issue (fixed)

I cleaned the reg in my Panthera 500 this morning and the washers were stacked the same as yours. From the bottom up: ()()()()())

Panthera 500 for a first time FX owner

I decided to replace the o-rings holding the liner in place with a carbon sleeve (like the Panthera 600 and 700 have from the factory). When I took the shroud off, dirt fell out. The outside of the barrel and the spacer that centers the shroud were very dirty. I guess the shroud, just like a...

FX Question on compressed air limitations in .22 cal slug shooter

If you launch an 81 gr hybrid slug at 1080 fps, you'll get just shy of 210 fpe. To get that amount of energy with a 40 gr slug, you'll have to push it to 1536 fps. To get 170 fpe out of a 40 gr slug, it needs to travel at 1382 fps, still well above supersonic.

FX HUMA regulator Gen 3 in FX Crown

While Huma specifies it should go as low as 60 bar, it still seems very low pressure to me. My experience with sub 12's is limited to two BSA's and a Steyr. My two current sub 12 rifles are set at higher pressure, as was my Steyr FT model. I know they're different makes of rifles so reg pressure...

Panthera 500 for a first time FX owner

That slow leak seems something FX customer support should be able to take care of. I haven't touched the trigger yet, as it seems fine to me. As long as it's better than the trigger on a Remington 700, I can live with it. ;) Out of a sample size of two Panthera 500's I must say there's some...

FX HUMA regulator Gen 3 in FX Crown

Have you tried setting the Huma reg at a higher pressure? 65 bar seems very low to me but you may have your reason to set it at that pressure.
