I think I'm done with this forum. Half the damn posts are about "Scuba Guns". I thought it would be purely about my beloved traditionals. Air compressors are for tires. Plus, your guns are ugly and they sound wierd.

get a 800fps plus 22cal breaker and get within 30yds and have fun. But leave the coons to yer favorite rimfire. They got tiny heads and fat loose thick-haired hide that just eats energy. Plus they're just hell to kill

I asked this once but it was more about the sweating. I think moisture is the most likely cause. That gun sweats both inside and out covering every part. And it's a helluva lot. I quit shooting on those sticky wet summer mornings. And I shoot mostly open sights. Must be hell on scopes too.

I have a Webley Vulcan 177 from about 1979. Birmingham marked, beech stock, no grip plate, no white buttplate spacer, pencil bbl, but ser# 907890. Is this a Special Export? How about that ser# that starts with 9?

back in the 70s those TS45 ads were everywhere. I got the breakbbl 177 for $25 and liked it so much i ordered the under and the side 2 for $40. Then i got an under in 22. The others weren't bad, but i had to bend the bbl on this one (crudely). Damn if it didn't shoot the best of the three. Still...

been hot, misty and damp recently and i was hesitant to take my air rifles out from the air conditioning because of condensation. I also thought just the ambient humidity entering the chamber couldn't be good. Then, back to the cool. Tell me bros

Thanks guys for that support. Seems I know alot of powder burners with myriad safe queens that sit, but a couple of beaters that really get carried and used. My son says he'd like 2 of everything, 1 to shoot and 1 to just HAVE!
