I had recently gotten 3 different FWB springer 10 meter air pistols (two 65s and one 80) and have been shooting everyday for the last month in my basement. This shot was taken leaning against my truck but it was still helpful for all the trigger time lately.

These birds are beautiful but they wreak havoc in all my out buildings. Another thing is I’ve been in the roofing and carpentry business for over 25 years and the amount of mess I’ve dealt with in soffit and overhangs is another reason why I use EXTREME PREJUDICE in my tactics.

I did ok with Talion before the Thermion. Here’s a video from this winter with the Talion at 85 yards. Head shot above the eye with a 22 grain Zan slug.

Yeah, I started with a Core 384 I believe. I then went to the Talion 384 and now the Thermion 1024. It’s just beautiful what I can see at night now. I just can’t find the time to get out now. It doesn’t get dark til late now in the northeast.

It will focus close. I will get more video when I get time. I have it zeroed at 50 yards and I ranged a tree across the road up in the neighbors field, 224 yards and whacked it. Not sure where but heard impact, long after trigger pull, lol.

Got the Pulsar ballistic app figured out and uploaded my .22 Leshiy 2 ballistics on my thermion XL50, WOW is all I can say. Just been playing around and getting used to running the new thermal. I have a Talion still and like it a lot but this is another level or three….

I figured that after the fact. It was raining pretty goods the time I ran up to take the pic. I use my guns in ALL WEATHER. I do take very good care of them though and don’t shy away from disassembling and thoroughly maintaining them. 🫡

Nailed a”Not starling” at 20 yards, but it wasn’t a killing shot. It fluttered to 40 yards away where I got it with the second shot. Tough bird, the .22 25 grain hit hard at 875 fps!!
