    Beeman P17

I have 5 of these, 2 wear scopes and have been on there for at least 5 years. They see regular use and so far no issues.

.22 vs .25 not what you think

.22 JSB MRD VS .25 JSB KINGS. Same basic weight, same velocity, what are the pros and cons one to another?

What springer did you shoot today?

Beeman P3 at 10 yards with JSB 7.33. The 6th spinner took 4 shots and the last one took 2. All the others were first shot hits. 1rst time with the KYL.

FX - time to move on?

I really like the FX guns I have and had. The one my brother is getting is what we call a 'family' gun. It can only be owned by me or my brothers. Not sold to anyone else. I don't feel like I'm knocking FX, just relating my experiences and thoughts. I mean they are 3 of the 5 PCPs I own!

    Beeman P17

I have 2 P3 and 3 P17. The P3s wear Beeman scopes and are used for my indoor precision work. Both out shoot me. The P17s triggers are close but not quite up to the P3. Kind of like kissing your wife goodbye in the morning or on your anniversary with a bit more passion and purpose. The P17s...

FX - time to move on?

More than anything, I expect a higher level of quality for the money spent.

FX - time to move on?

I have owned 4 FX products and of the 4, 1 has been great and the others are great sometimes and at other times... not so great. The great one was the Logun Solo in .22. Robust and just flat dependable oh, accurate too. Second best is my late model Impact MK in .22. Third would be my Wildcat...

    Compact to 700mmĺ

That sounds about right. By decreasing the reg pressure the valve would stay open longer which the longer barrel can handle.

    Compact to 700mmĺ

I have been shooting a 500mm .22 Impact MK2 for 2+ years with great results. I have learned that running a higher reg pressure made it easier to tune for accuracy and in most cases ended up with fairly low ES & SD's. Yes, the tune window seems to be narrower but more stable. My question is...

Name your best off the shelf PCP

My impact M2 has been effortless to maintain superb accuracy. My M3 and Wilcat MKlll BT seem to be cantankerous.

    .22 HW98

I've decided to purchase an HW98 in .22. What I'm most curious about is what you've found to be your favorite hunting pellet. Pest birds and squirrels mostly. JSB Hades has been my got to with my pcp's. What have you seen to be the best at these lower power levels?

    HW98...

Fat fingers and a first finger and thumb that are missing some length and dexterity.

    HW98...

I have an HW30S in .177 and love to plink with it. It's also a favorite of my adult kids and wife. Years ago I had an HW97K in .177 that I could hit black eye Susans 6 out of 10 times at 75-78 yards with. My wife got sick and it had to go. Last summer I was again in the market and...

Do I need 2 air tanks?

My 700cc bottle is a 300 bar fill.

Do I need 2 air tanks?

Actually my lower psi tank is 100 cf where my higher psi tank is only 74 cf. You're correct, you do have to fill sooner or later but for me it's an hour drive each way to get the 300 bar fill so this technique saves me at least one trip a month. I need a compressor!

Do I need 2 air tanks?

Agreed! When I have saved enough to buy that compressor I surely will.

Do I need 2 air tanks?

I've recently learned that having 2 air tanks is better than having only one but not why I thought it would be. I bought a 100cf scuba tank so I could shoot tethered and for tuning. With this I wouldn't have to use 300 bar tank except for hunting and when I was away for a few days. I read an...

    Erratic flyers SOLVED!

Wildcat MK3BT Compact .22 with 600mm and 500mm barrels. STX Superior liners. Shooting off a bi-pod and rear bag. I spent hours and hundreds of pellets and slugs attempting to tune out random flyers as well as POI shifts. 2nd reg pressures from 115 - 145 psi. Hammer spring adjusting for each...
