    England Trip

Traveling around is a good idea - you see the good and the bad. For a small country, we have some beautiful areas. You'll be like a spot on a domino in Birmingham.

Beeman 1982 Beeman Garage score-Yay or Nay? UPDATE...

Nice rifle 👍🏻 I'm quite new to Beeman stuff - I like the older stuff with that stamp on it but, it's hard to come by over here. I've managed to get a couple of C1s but, I'm always on the look out for others....... maybe one day 🤞🏻

    Gun pics… show me.

My tastes have changed over the years - I still have a soft spot for Kalibrgun, Edgun, Air Arms and Daystate but I now find enjoyment in springers and getting the most out of cheaper rifles. This is an SMK XS78 that I finished working on yesterday - it has a brass highflow transfer port, Hammer...

    Other Exploding Pellets

They're made by a company called Kvintor - we can buy them over here through eBay and Amazon from a seller called iHunter. .......... I've bought loads of odd (probably useless) pellets from them to try through my Chinese Beeman.

Lubricants - not all the same purpose

We have something called 'Bum Slide' over here that's pretty good for airgun internals. It's a molybdenum high content compound - you never need a lot and, it's always served me well - I get it from Nick at TBT 👍🏻 Apart from that, I like Ballistol for wiping down the metal work - you'll either...

I don't have to - I just clicked on whatever the sites version of 'Remember me' is when I signed up. Although, it could depend on what Web browser you're using or your cookie settings.

    New target, need opinions......

Paint the whole thing white but, the inner target plate, paint that bit black. It will help to keep rust away and, it'll make it easier to target at longer ranges 👍🏻

    Two way recoil?

You could argue that a springer has more recoil because of how the spring slightly unwinds (coarse description I know) upon release - there is always some torsion recoil, to a lesser or greater degree, with a spring powered rifle - you don't get that with a gas piston powered rifle 👍🏻

My name is Jon and I like gas rams.

That's a seriously good looking set up 👍🏻😎

I'm being overrun by 10 or more raccoons each night

Well, you either embrace the little buggers or, you eradicate them 🤔 You could sit out with a bourbon and some cut fruit to see what happens and, have a laugh with the little critters while they piss your neighbours off. Or, you could put out a pile of food and snipe them. The choice is yours...

    For those acrosss the pond...

Ok here goes - the airgun community over here can be a funny bunch. A lot of them are quick to scream the rule book at anyone that deviates into what they believe will bring the whole sport crashing down. However, some of the experienced chaps just go about our business without plastering it...

Another old crosman in the stable.

Same here - the plastic does put me off a bit but, I would have one of those 👍🏻

    Springers on the wall .

Think I Broke My AA TX200 MKIII, .22 cal

That sounds like a right sickener mate - I hope you manage to get it sorted 🤞🏻 My guess is the pellet fell back out of the bore while you were closing the breach and, you had a dry fire. I'd take it apart before using it any more - check for any damage to the piston seal and breach seal. Also...
