I don’t think Tony does a 20mm version, just 21 & 22mm. The 21mm version has to go to him to be fitted.

Lordy! My sub-12 (710fps with a 10.34gr 0.177” pellet) FX Crown with a 480cc bottle will do a tin of 500 pellets before needing a top up! That is 230 bar down to 60 (reg pressure) as the Crown is a little erratic on fps between 250 and 230 bar. It’s not much good for turkey shooting though… 😀

PS. I only have a Crown and Panthera, although I do have a mate with a Mk2 Impact. All sub-12 so running a 10.34gr JSB 0.177” ‘heavy’ at ~710 fps. But you wouldn’t be happy with that comparison either, I’m betting?

0.177” Hades work well to 20-25 yards (as well as the 10.34gr ‘heavy’ they are based upon), however once you close in on 40 yards something goes horribly wrong. I have had less than half inch groups at 25 yards with both pellet types. I moved to 50 yards and the heavies were doing less than an...

Have a watch of Geoff below and he’ll explain the different FX barrels. I have had several LW barrels made for my FX Crown (one by Geoff himself), so I would recommend that, and not using an FX liner as a start point.

I have a 500mm panthera in 0.177”, and that manages to group well out to 70+ yards. You guys should try some 10.34gr pellets at ~710 fps, testing stuff!

I have a couple of TXs, and changed the internals for a sleeveless piston from a guy called Tony Leech in the UK. I have run both 21mm and 22mm versions and they are superb at about 10.5 ft.lbs. The top piston is his work, the bottom two have TBT nose extensions. All have delrin guides...
