I was successful, l tapped the front end down past the original threads by 1”. Then used my tile saw with a carbon fiber disc, taped the moderator tube. Drew a line at the desired length, cut and ran the tap back thru. Shortened the intervals and it fine. Bwags

GX-CS4, portable, have used it in the field. Fills my SCBA tank effortlessly. Reasonably priced. I added a dryer tank just for precaution, but it never has any moisture when I bleed the dryer. When filling my portable tank I bleed the compressor valve every 5-6 minutes, to prevent moisture.

Open should be open, anything goes, any magnifications, clicking, sticks, seat, make it a REAL open class, instead of “unlimited” IMOP
