Hi Showme. I stated "Dynamat" because most folks know what it is. Actually, I used another, cheaper brand of thin sound deadener. It's just butyl rubber covered with an aluminum film. 1-2 sq ft will do. Brian

On my Uragan 2 Compact/Tatsu, I used Dynamat to line the plenum's exterior, and the CF stock's interior. That considerably reduced the ping to a comfortable level. I'll try out the hammer spring sleeve trick next.
