    Sheridan and Peep sight

Thank you. I plan to have a gunsmith install the peep sight. If I cannot find one locally who is familiar with pellet guns I'll send it off somewhere.

Any idea what the holes on the left side are for?

    Sheridan and Peep sight

I have a 1964 Sheridan Blue Streak. It has two drilled and tapped holes left side. Does any one know if currently available peep sights on various airgun retail sites will fit. Many I have seen are mounted on the right side. The holes are .5" apart center to center.

    Show your Sheridan

Got my 1964 Sheridan Blue Streak back from Baker Airguns. Anxious to shoot it. Raining here today and I don't have an indoor range. I stripped off the not so nice looking factory finish and refinished the wood. There was some nice grain hiding underneath.

    Sheridan Blue Streak

Thanks all. I downloaded the manual. Nice to find a manual with printed information and not just icons like so much stuff today has. Getting excited to get the rifle back.

    Sheridan Blue Streak

My 1964 model Blue Streak is off for repair. Does anyone have a copy of the owner's manual they would be willing to photocopy for me? Thanks

    Shipping for Repair

Thank you for all the good information. I have the pellet gun boxed and a label ready to go from Pirate Ship. I also play mountain dulcimer and sometimes need to ship those. This will be a great service. The last one I shipped weighed less than 3 lb packed and was $34 at USPS. Pirate Ship will...

    Seneca Dragonfly MK2

Great help thus far from the members. Thanks a bunch. I would like to mount a red dot or perhaps a red green dot reflex sight. The rear portion of the 11mm dovetail is a little over 2" long. I like the looks of the Westlake Tactical Holographic Reflex Red Green Dot Sight or the CenterPoint...

    Blue Streak Ammo

I have a Blue Streak I bought new in 1964. Somewhere back in the '80's or early 90's it began to lose its ability to hold air after Dad used it many years to dispatch critters robbing his garden. He got a springer. I got the Sheridan when he passed and it sat around for a while. Now I want to...

    Seneca Dragonfly MK2

Thanks all for your input. I have ordered the Dragonfly in .22 from PA getting a refurb unit. I'll add a BuckRail suppressor as I live in a neighborhood that seems offended by guns of any kind. If I keep it quiet there may be no complaints. Can't shoot a .22 rimfire here due to county rules...

    Seneca Dragonfly MK2

Funny that you mention a Blue Streak. I have one I purchased new in 1964. I took it down and removed the factory finish to refinish the wood. It has some nice wood that now can be seen. It had lost its ability to hold air. It will go off for repair in the next few weeks. I am very much leaning...

Yes they are a pumper. I have some age related joint problems and they are reported to require less pumping effort. I don't think I want a scope on it. Peep sight, diopter, or maybe a reflex red dot. I am hoping the members here can give some good suggestions.

Thinking about the Dragonfly. What sight enhancements have folks tried other than a scope? Use for plinking, personal target practice, perhaps a pest or two here and there.
