I curious as to what your shooting as well. What caliber? Grain? my .25 cal Taylon p groups 1" at 50 yards with a .55g spitzer from Mr. Hollowpoint. I consider that to be pretty good out of a 12" barrel "pistol" but wouldn't consider the same results good out of my heavily modified gauntlet.

I recently tried the permatex version to seal a gauge in my Umarex and it leaked imediately after. Not sure if theres much difference but I was definitley unimpressed even after 72 hrs of cure time.

I love my Umarex Gauntlet in .25 with all the hajimoto goodies. 50+ fpe and there's plenty in your price range already modded. Otherwise i have an AirForce TaylonP that i thinks gonna make a fantastic small game hunter this year.

I mean my DAQ .58 cal pistol is definitely a steel ringer... Not that I would call it a pistol at this point because frankly you just cant hold it comfortably like a pistol. I have it in a crosman carbine stock, just makes more sense. Like mentioned above, it just takes to much barrel to produce...

Thank you!!! Love the way yours is set up. I'm trying to make it a little lighter and more agile and I've heard this takes 2-3 lbs off from the original synthetic stock. That ebay link has some incredible stuff, that will most likely be the rout I go. He seems to have really good feedback too.

I second this! Maybe we make this the home build section. I’ve always been interested on making/ converting air rifles and there’s little to no help elsewhere for someone who’s new to the concept.

I’m also new and decided just sit back and enjoy. As frustrating as it is when you see something you want on the classifieds I see why it’s in place. Posted on the American Airguner classifieds and had THREE scams in less than an hour.

Does anyone know of an affordable stock or someone who makes them for the Quackenbush outlaw/crosman 2240? I’d like to find one aside from the skeletonized poly that crosman offers.
