    Benjamin Benjamin 422

I have the same gun, with multiple feed issues. Could someone message me the name of someone who might work on them as well?

    Advice on initial purchase.

Hi, MidWest. There are a number of guns that can work in the pest control role you mention. One consideration is how the gun gets charged with air and, if you are considering a hand pump for a Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP), how fit you are. I have PCPs, Spring-Piston, CO2 and single stroke...

    N/A Target air pistols

Mine, such as they are, are a Rohm Twinmaster Trainer and a Daisy 747. The Marksman 2004 is surprisingly accurate for such an inexpensive pistol, though.

    Show me your first gun.

My first gun burned up in a garage fire when I was five or six years old. Its replacement a year or so later is a Daisy model 38, a wide-body gun like the 99/499, but multi-shot with a large capacity. After many years being stored out in unfavorable conditions in a garage, I got it from my...

FX Anyone ever get the urge to eviscerate a fly but by the air from your PCP only…? Just me?

When I was a kid, I did this sort of thing with my Benjamin Silver Streak on roaches and such. Never really thought about letting air work its magic on flies, though.

    Benjamin Benjamin 422 Feeding Issue

I know the reason these pistols were unsuccessful in the marketplace and discontinued is how the "magazine" worked, with three #009 O-rings somewhat controlling the feeding forward of the pellets to the firing position. I haven't looked into how to replace said O-rings, but the 422 pistol I have...

I have the Daisy 747 and Marksman 2004 pistols, and the Daisy 853 rifle. The two pistols are the same as Northwoods22 posted and the rifle is very similar to the 853 Northwoods22 Posted but with a wood stock. All good shooters.

    Daisy CMP 853 Daisy

Good shooting. Our 4-H group had several 753s (essentially the same design) as club guns for the kids to use. When the club got PCP guns they phased the 753s out and I purchased some of them to have for instruction opportunities. I currently need to put a seal kit (already sourced) in one of...

    Magazine issue

Hi, Wooze. As you have noted, these are pretty simple devices. Yours doesn't seem to sit with the clear cover tight against the black as I would expect. Since you don't care to ship for a $13 mag, what do you have to loose taking it apart again and modifying a bit to get it to go together as...

    30-Yard Challenge

Looking forward to trying this challenge soon. 30 yards is no joke, so I'll probably use the same target and work my way up...

What did you do airgun related today.

Ordered an o-ring kit for my Avenger Bullpup .22, and finally got around to ordering an electric pump (had been using a 6000 PSI nitrogen bottle for a couple of years until the bottle rental increased more than 100% without warning).

    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

I'd say both, as well. Different tools for different purposes, of course, with airguns providing for lower report and lower energy -- potentially increasing opportunities to shoot and the safety factor -- as well as lower cost of ammo (thus greater number of trigger presses).
