Good job on hitting those birds, the starlings are hard enough to hit but those pesky little house sparrows are darn near impossible to hit at times. What are your calibers and projectiles in your Pathfinder and Ghost?

It's absolutely amazing how much they know about the new phones and how to use them, and with some it's not just with phones. When my granddaughter was about 5 or 6, she set up YouTube on our TV. o_O

I went out groundhog hunting today with my Ghost that has the new 30 cal. SUB MOA barrel on it. I did not see any adults, only these three young ones and ended up getting all 3 of them, 2 at 51yds. and 1 at 25yds. all head shots. I was using the NSA 49.5gr slugs and they are averaging 935fps...

It does have a shine to it, so it looks like SUB MOA did polish it. Black or blued would look really good too.

I don't believe it has any type of coating on it, none that I can see any way.

When I had the barrel completely out to clean it, I wiped it down entirely and put a very light coat of Ballistol on it. That was just mostly to get it to go back easier into the barrel channel when I reinstalled the barrel.

I shot my Ghost today with the 30cal SUB MOA barrel and 49.5gr. NSA slugs at 935fps. My scope is an Athlon 2.5X15 and I always leave it on 15X. To say I was happy and impressed with the accuracy is an understatement. The wind was right to left at around 6-8 mph with higher gusts at times. Here...
