You can choose to flip it in the settings menu. I'll try it ASAP to be sure it works also on my E-Ink display.

What The FX Pocket Chrono Should Have Been - Rechargable

Wonderful mods you're doing I just bought a LiPo battery following heavy-impact hints and I'm not sure where to connect the wires for recharging the battery pack. In the connector?, in the battery board? or in the Chrony board? Or are all the same? Would you please give me some advice? Thank you.

It is the TTGO software, you can flip the display. (never tried it)... :)

    Homebrew FX Chrony display

It uses BT connection. It is based on DaystateRebel code for the TTGO. Only the power lines are hooked to the FX board. It has an ON/OFF switch so you can decide wether use it or not. eg. If you want to use the official app.

Ok, I think I can now share what I've done 'till now. There are no major issues. Bare in mind E-Ink are NOT fast as other displays, so for example when in the menus be patient, count up to 3 before clicking again. Also I suggest to call up the menu when the Chrony is connected. I powered the...

I do not use a battery for the board, I connected it to the battery pins of the chrony, it draws very, very low power. I think it's a very good idea to hook up the board and the chrony without using BT, maybe some of you skilled can think about it. (for me is out of range... :) )

I posted a short video showing the board in action on Discord... (I do not have an external server to put it on)

I agree, but this is just a porting of DaystateRebel excellent work for the TTGO. Having SD and ES displayed in real time during shots is out of my limited skills. For me I'd like to have on screen a list of the last 10 shots, along with Min and Max, without having to go in a second page. Don't...

    Homebrew FX Chrony display

How about a All-in-one device? An FX Crony powering an integrated low power absorbing E-Ink display? Perfecly visible in direct sunlight and with a ON/OFF switch so you can choose to use it or not? I'll do some testing before sharing, let me know if you like it as I do. :)

Back home finally... Tested the new release and all is good. Tested low energy and FAC profiles with different pellets, all is working flawlessly, thanks. (I saw interesting developments here...:))

Yes, I know… Everything works fine with the M5 and The Heltec with the previous software or the IPhone app.

Tried. Beside that it’s the same as the previous version that still works fine. I erased all and started from scratch 3 times. Same results. I’ll wait the M5 porting. 😃

    Homebrew FX Chrony display

Anyone tried to insert in the code your own personal pellets/guns? Results? The downloaded code works fine, but when I put my data in it... The menu works as they should, but when I shot... crickets... nothing in the display.

    Homebrew FX Chrony display

Solved... Sorry to have bothered you. I re-downloaded the code and now it works... do not ask me why  But the joules displayed are wrong. I've added: {"HADES", "JSB", 15.89, 0.22, 1.03, 5.5}, {"JUMBO HEAVY", "JSB", 18.13, 0.22, 1.175, 5.5} and this is the results. 71.37 joules...

Just the two lines for the pellets definition, not added but modified the existing ones to my data. This is the original code

I was trying the last update but in the board the only choices are the ones you coded. The pellet I added to the code does not show up. What have I done wrong?
