What I mean you can not shoot a 45 gr .25 cal slug from a Lw .550 mm barrel at appropriate velocity while you can do it with a 700 mm due to a longer barrel and less Reg pressure. I do not shoot .22 cal at all so can not compare between the two. So if your plan is to shoot heavy slugs a 550 mm...

Hi Buddy, I own the Epic2 in .25 cal with a 700 mm Lw barrel. It's shoots like a dream and likes heavy slugs ( I shoot mainly Zan 45 gr at 970/980 fps). It's long and heavy and a 700 mm won't shoot necessarily better than a 550 mm barrel, and a shorter barrel will make the gun less hold...
