    N/A WWII 1911A1 Pistol

I couldn't muster enough energy for all that so I used a touch-up crayon for cars in a similar shade to fill in the text, looks good enough at arms length I may try a faux Parkerizing with Alumnahyde

    N/A WWII 1911A1 Pistol

That's lovely! How did you manage to do such a good job of getting rid of the text? I've tried plenty of things but it's still there

    FWB FWB 300S

I have never taken a good look at a LH grip cap up close, but I have only ever seen two types of grip caps for sale. The old flared version and the new straight one, also only seen one type of grip spacer (FWB 1.700,948.1) so presumably they'd be the same.

What springer did you shoot today?

Will do, if I can remember to :)

What springer did you shoot today?

I've just received an AA EX88 and it is twangy as all get out. Definitely a winter project to sort out.

Does anyone have one of these or have ever shot one?

They are solid guns, not quite as refined as the TX200 that replaced them and became the standard rifle for FT as long as springers were at the top But good hunting rifles. All AA's rifles at that time had the same action inherited from the Sussex Arms Jackal wich looked like a generic assault...

What springer did you shoot today?

Serendipity strikes again! I just saw an ad for an EmGe for sale, and this one has some sort of magazine. Never saw that before, all I've seen have been single shots The magazine itself is missing, and presumably lost to the world

What springer did you shoot today?

It looks a bit Buck Rogers, it's been used with darts the last 60 years or so

German overlever from the 1930's I'll let Tom Gaylord tell you more https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2021/03/the-em-ge-zenit-air-pistol-part-1/

What springer did you shoot today?

I found my grandads old Em-Ge Zenith in the cleaning cupboard for some reason, so I had to give it a shot. It's definitly no match for my FWB 65 so I put it back with the rags again. Been busy sorting out a Dreamline in .25

Would you switch from MOA to Mil if you really wanted a scope?

I bought a secondhand Delta Stryker 5-50 that has .05 MIL turrets. That's totally wasted on an air rifle. I don't think I'll like it for long range either as the targets are rarely that small.

    Which pellet weight?

True, but chances are very good that it'll be one of those two depending on your power level. FX designs their barrels around the JSB Exact pellets, their own is just rebranded Exacts, and you need a few tins to setup and get to know your rifle anyway. Good luck!

    Hawke or Element scopes

I believe the Element Nexus is made in Japan, the others presumably in China. I don't own one so I can say nothing about the quality, but I have a number of Hawkes and am super pleased with them. Especially the Vantage 4x32 AO Mildot that I use on several springers is exceptional value for the...

    Diana Model 48 / 52 Barrel Twist ??

Doesn't really matter for an air gun. spin drift will be negligible at the distances we normally shoot so just leave it blank. Unless you're pushing for 100y or so, then add approx .3 MIL vertical deflection

What springer did you shoot today?

    Yup, they're worn out

What springer did you shoot today?

I shot my new Diana 66, it came as a non-functional parts rifle but a bit of debugging (including removing eight pellets from the barrel) and re-syncing of the pistons and it's all good This is my rifle range And this is the first ten shots taken with a random diopter from the parts bin...

    The Zone! I absolutely agree

What springer did you shoot today?

I got a great deal on a Hawke Vantage 4x32 with a no questions asked life time warrenty. @Septicdeath, nice to see an Excellent being aired, they have a reputation here of old of being able to be pumped to energy levels of biblical proportions. Everyone knows of someone else's...

What springer did you shoot today?

What about Hawke Vantage, will they stand up to a springer?

Would you switch from MOA to Mil if you really wanted a scope?

Not quite, there are 2×Pi radians in a unit circle so 1 milliradian equals1/6283.185.... of a circle. But all this comes down to personal preference, I'm solidly metric so if I know distance I know windage if I use mrad (and vice versa of course) and it becomes very easy for me. MoA would be...
