    My DIY scopecam project

The "glass" was actually a prismatic cube mentioned in the opening comments and the action camera was set on 240fps IIRC.

    My DIY scopecam project

Thanks for the kind words. I had some videos posted when I originally posted the build. Here is a link to a few videos, and yes I was able to capture pellet flight with the sun at my back one morning at 720p. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=customcutter100

    One out of three

Good shooting! I've declared war on the nest raiders. Coyotes, raccoons, and possums are responsible for 70% of ground nesting eggs never hatching. Hopefully we will see more turkey and quail this year.

Last Hunting Video of the Year!!!

Happy New Year Erlis! Hope everyone is doing well. Always love your vids, and your tracers are superb!

    Got him👊

Great shooting and write up! I just bought over a dozen traps to start taking coyotes here on the farm. They have devastated the turkey population over the past 7-8 years. Less than 70% hatch due to opossums, raccoons, and coyotes. Good luck getting the second one!

    RTI Prophet 2 questions

Dave, I did slug the barrel. I came up with .216-.2165 and this is the "slug" barrel. So far I've been mostly shooting H&N .218 21gr, I did try some .217 FB NSA's in 23gr and some dish based 25gr. Accuracy wasn't as good. A few days later I tried lubing the 23gr NSA's and accuracy improved...

    RTI Prophet 2 questions

Thanks for the replies. Obviously, we don't have many cool days back home. I have several bullpups, but never noticed the moisture condensating on the breech area. I'll focus on what's causing the puff of air. Hopefully I can run it across the chronograph soon. I know it was shooting .21gr...

How tough is it to shoot coyotes in the dark?

Great Job! You have a great set-up and the rules/regs are in your favor. Looking forward to the video In Alabama, no night vision or thermal during deer season. .30 caliber PCP or larger, and no baiting, so you are essentially calling coyotes in at unknown distances and trying to lob...

    25 cal for coyote

I wish that were true in Alabama. We are visiting the In-laws and the Al regs are nothing smaller than .30. I'd rather use the .22 at 1000FPS vs the .30 at 800FPS and lobbing in artillery rounds.

    RTI Prophet 2 questions

Yes, not sure that both are related, but very possible. I'm thinking I may de-gas the gun and just make sure there is no moisture in the bottle. I don't think there is, but I'd rather be sure. Next step will be to check the breech o-ring, and the set screw for the barrel. I didn't hear back...

    RTI Prophet 2 questions

Yes, it appears to be water. I've never noticed it when at home (Tampa, Fl). We are visiting the In-Laws in Alabama and it is quite a bit cooler. I've never seen it on my 6 other PCP's, but haven't shot them in these weather conditions either.LOL

    RTI Prophet 2 questions

I have a Prophet 2 in .22 caliber. I have recently noticed moisture around the front of the magazine, and I am also getting a puff of air when I shoot. I first noticed the moisture on a cool morning and thought my warm breath was condensing on the side of the breech, but it has done it on...

Tuning RTI Prophet Hammer Spring Problem

I'm glad I checked this thread. I have a Prophet 2 .22 caliber. I bought a used .30 barrel for it, and when I received it I pulled the .22 barrel and inserted the .30 just to check the fit. Then I put the .22 caliber barrel back in. I recently started noticing a puff of air when shooting. I...

How tough is it to shoot coyotes in the dark?

Have you tried calling them when you are there? Maybe once or twice a month, they get educated real quick to a call.

    RTI Prophet Accuracy!

Good luck Martin. My PP2 in .22 is liking the .218 21 gr H&N's at 1000fps. Almost MOA, but not quite. LOL

    Florida Airgunners

Thanks John. I spoke with one of the Club Officers back in October and there was still 8-10' of water on the property. Glad to hear that y'all have things up and running again. I may try again after the first of the year.

    Any guns you regret buying"

Hatsan BT65, too heavy and too hard to cock. One day it will be a bullpup, with a forward cocking lever.

    RTI Prophet Accuracy!

I researched 8-10 guns. I wanted a gun to shoot slugs. It finally came down to either the BRK Ghost or the RTI Prophet II. I also thought that the Prophet was more efficient at making power.

    RTI Prophet Accuracy!

I would try to tune them down to 900-920. I know they shoot well in my Wildcat at 920. IIRC the reg can be set down to 80bar IDK.
