I have a number of high-end rifles, but I’m considering an Alpha Wolf in .22 or .177 to add to the collection. not sure yet, as to caliber but either .22 or .177. I’m aware that the ART barrels are not designed as slug guns, but I’m not a slug “guy” anyway. The .22 I think is good for 74FPE...

I think FX might have helped BRK… the ”new” power wheel design & location is better protected, with less chance of accidental rotation in use or getting in/out of any carrying case. Plus, it blends in better with the look of the Ghost.…Just another opinion!

Good to see reviews of guns less than 30 FPE. Nobody is a thorough as Steve (IMO). Short barrel, and lower power with the right pellet work wonders out to 50 yards, for small game and for surprising fun at the bench. The Katran looks good.

Nobody reviews like Steve, with the details about every possible thing you could want to know from butt to muzzle and more. On our high power side of the pond, we look down on 15-20 FPE, but our British cousins hunt small game and birds out to 50 yards all day and all night with their 12 FPE...
