    Air Arms TX200 problem

Years ago, I had a leaking comp tube where it screws together. I can't remember, but I think there's an o-ring that seals the comp tube? I also replaced the breech seal o-rings which together with resealing the comp tube, fixed my problem.

I remember those! That's a beautiful example. I always wondered what the target market was for those rifles. They seemed ahead of their time.

    Theoben All in on .20

I rebuilt an old R1 that a buddy sold me about 25 years ago. Found a .20 carbine barrel and shortened in to 11" and added a long moderator/handguard. It was a true tack-driver! Made about 18 ft-lbs. Wish I'd kept it. It absolutely loved Beeman .20 Crow Magnums! Recently found an HW .20 carbine...

    FX New DREAMLINE tac 25

Not real familiar with the Dreamline, but it should shoot a bit faster than that. I sent you a PM, as I'm also in your area.

    Dropping off the regulator

If I understand your question correctly, the 1st reg will pass through any pressure below it's set point (i.e. 250 bar). Therefore, your 2nd reg will see the bottle pressure (i.e. 150 bar). At the point your bottle pressure gets to 90-100 bar, you'll need to refill so you don't drop below 90 bar.

Show us your squirrel gun for this season!

No. Actually I found it on Amazon. I'd rather have a comma wheel for ranging purposes, but the star knob works great for hunting and target shooting.

Show us your squirrel gun for this season!

Finally starting to get my .22 FX Maverick compact tuned and sighted in. Recently mounted an Athlon 6-24x Midas Tac. Squirrel was cutting branches in the yard and had to be taken out! His buddies are next. I haven't yet got try out any JSB Hades.....this was using JSB 18.13gr. at 930fps...

    Poorly Mounted Scope

Some rings don't fit well on the TX-200 and Prosport because of the receiver's upper curvature and sometimes sit crooked. I've milled Sportsmatch airgun rings with some success, but about 20 years ago, I used a set of Burris Signature .22 rings (with Pos-Align inserts) on my TX200. I was able...

Scope issue on a Gauntlet 1st gen

As WM mentioned, a strip of soda can aluminum works well for shimming. "Back in the day" folks used to use strips of 35mm photo negative for the same purpose. You have to be careful not to damage the scope tube when tightening the rings when using shims. There are purpose-built adjustable...

    Scope Alignment Help Needed

As OldSpook indicated, the most common issue is a canted reticle. The next possibility are that the mounts/rings are machined incorrectly, causing the scope tube to be out of alignment with the barrel. The last possibility is that the Picatinny rail is not aligned with the barrel, which would...

Tried the O rings, Prod results

I’m with SqrlHntr. I haven’t finished tuning my Prod post BStaley mod, but found I had to back off my hammer spring to 5.5 and increase hammer throw to 1.5 to get above 700fps using 14.3 CPHPs. With HS at 6.5 and HT at 0.5, it was shooting in the low 600s at 2800psi. Increasing HS only made...
