    Wow! Sometimes it's just knowing what to ask for. Ordered a "binding barrel" from McMaster that looks (theoretically) exactly right. Then searched with that on Amazon and got led to "Chicago screw" and ordered an assortment of those, too. Thanks very much - think I'm on my way!

    I’ve not had much luck. the hole is 13/64 when I use a drill bit for sizing. Tried using cut down roll pins but 7/32 won’t go and 3/16 won’t stay in. May try seeing if I can make 1 fit with the Dremel.
