    Budget tier FFP LPVO?

I am looking for a budget tier LPVO with a first focal plane reticle to put on a Notos. Something in the 200-300 dollar range. I spent a couple days scouring the internet and am running out of ideas. I looked at midwayusa.com, brownells, natchez, primary arms, vortex, burris, bushnell, SWFA...

    Sheridan Silver Streak

Mannlicher/stutzen style stock on a sheridan is a really good idea! I might have to try that. Steve Corcoran did some 392 stocks that look kinda like that.

Taking advantage of planned obsolescence or just being happy with what you have, either way you win.

Ya, I wouldn't mind having a few of them PPs around. Look like good little squirrel getters.

Taking advantage of planned obsolescence or just being happy with what you have, either way you win.

Latest and greatest is not the way of my people. I'd rather buy something old and beat up and fix it than something new. Also I try not to break the bank. Bought a crosman 1322 instead of a Notos recently mostly because I thought it would be more affordable. I was wrong. I'm almost 300 bucks...

Air Venturi Ted thinks "Multi-pumpers are Great Again" Seneca Dragonfly MK2

Had to look up that 392. That seems like a really cool idea if they could just get a little more power out of it

Air Venturi Ted thinks "Multi-pumpers are Great Again" Seneca Dragonfly MK2

I think that stock was done by a guy named Steve Corcoran. https://www.scstocksandgrips.com/

    Fox Squirrel this weekend

Yeah, they're probably here to stay, but won't stop us from trying

    Fox Squirrel this weekend

The little boogers are already here, and they're displacing our western grays. Even though they are a bit smaller they are more aggressive and they tend to fare better in more populated areas. I've whacked 4 in the last couple months.

If you could design the perfect pcp, what would it Consist of?

Is that a crosman? In .50? Thought the pcp conversion was the end of the rabbit hole on those... clearly I have much to learn

If you could design the perfect pcp, what would it Consist of?

My perfect pcp would be a one off type deal. Texan style receiver but scaled up significantly to accept the 40inch or so 2 bore bull barrel. The barrel would have to thread into the receiver and be free floated of course. The plenum would be a one liter tank on back of the gun. The air tank...

YOU LUCKY SQUIRREL SHOOTERS, KILLERS. But maybe not?

Little SOB got one of my squirrels. Gave him a pass because I am pretty sure he also ate a couple rats living under my house

    Other Solid Barrels

I don't disagree. Having been a powderburner guy all my life, when I got into airguns I was racking my brain trying to figure out why all these manufacturers were doing it wrong and ignoring hundreds of years worth of accumulated wisdom about barrel harmonics. I couldn't believe it. ...still...

    Other Solid Barrels

Was thinking more of old military rifles with skinny little barrels that are bedded in the fore end of the stock and usually have a hand guard making contact on top of the barrel. Not exactly shrouded. But my point is there needn't be poi shifts with skinny little barrels whether they are...

    FX FX Tuning Moderator

That's pretty sweet! I've always wanted to play with tuning muzzle devices, but never bad enough to cut that deep into my ammo budget. I'm too cheap I guess. ...need to figure out how to make one and integrate it into one of my sprinkler head LDCs...

    Other Solid Barrels

I think the better question is which guns have barrels that mate up solidly with the recievers. Plenty of powder burners have soda straw barrels that don't have the sort of poi shifts that some airguns do.

Crosman Lothar Walther barrel for Crosman 1377 - worth it?

Oh, looks like I was on the website for Canada. Poor boogers have it worse than those of us in Kalifornistan
