What makes some PCPs so expensive?

Why are some PCPs much more expensive compared to others? What sets them apart and drives the price up? What I don't understand is how an FX Impact, which is close to top of the line, is close to $1500 less expensive than a Daystate Alpha Wolf, for example.

Great White vs Air Venturi tanks

Planning on buying a portable tank. Is there any reason I should choose a Great White over Air Venturi, or vice versa? Also, regardless of brand, is the extra money for the larger tanks versus the mid-sized tanks more cost efficient in the long run (fewer trips to get them filled, idk)?

    DIN valves at scuba shops

Okay sounds good. Where would you recommend going if dive shops may not have that capability?

    DIN valves at scuba shops

Do most scuba shops have the capability of filling HPA tanks that are fitted with DIN valves? I am thinking about buying an Air Venturi Wingman and wanted to make sure I actually have places to fill it when traveling.

    Regulation technicalities

It’s actually the exact wording from US fish and wildlife. It’s federal law.

    Regulation technicalities

I'll definitely talk to the game warden and ask the DNR. The fact of the matter is that I'll still hunt the land and use a shotgun if that's the only legal option. I would just prefer to use my air rifle because it's quiet.

    Regulation technicalities

I was planning on doing some dove hunting when the season rolls around with my marauder. I was checking the regulations and found some potential roadblocks. In South Carolina doves are considered migratory birds, which includes woodcock, ducks, geese, etc. The weapon restrictions for hunting...

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

Thanks for the replies. It sounds all over the board though so I might ask my state DNR. I would hunt doves, but technically that’s illegal bc you have to exclusively use shotguns. Kind of stupid but a lot of regulations are. Pigeons aren’t considered migratory birds so they have different...

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

Sounds good. It probably sounds like a weird question but it’s an interesting thought

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

The reason I'm asking in the first place is because I find it strange that doves are the preferred game bird over pigeons. I didn't know if there was a culinary reason for that or if it related more to the behavioral differences between pigeons and doves. I may be wrong, but I believe that...

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

Interesting. If they're good there why would they not also be good here I guess. Anthony Bourdain was great, wish he was still around

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

Yea I know domesticated pigeons have been eaten for centuries. I was just curious about how wild pigeons would fare. I mean what's the difference between them and doves besides that they're a little bigger.

    Have you ever eaten pigeons?

I was curious if anybody has eaten a pigeon. I enjoy dove and was curious if pigeons are equally palatable.

    4 weeks + 4 winners = 120 BOXES of Slugs by NSA - Week 4

From what I've seen so far they've performed up to my expectations for a quality slug.

    Lead free slugs?

Thanks man. Happy to hear that there are some other interested people. Maybe a company will start manufacturing them if there's enough interest. And those JSB slugs look great. A shame they haven't released them yet.

    Lead free slugs?

Do you think copper could be too hard for barrels? I've heard that copper jacketed pellets are generally less accurate because of it and could also potentially damage barrels. And that's only a copper coating, not solid copper like slugs would be.

    Lead free slugs?

Thanks. I’ll keep an eye out for them for when they do put them on the market.

    Lead free slugs?

I was looking around for lead free slugs and couldn't find a manufacturer who makes them. Is there any particular reason they have not been made yet? Would the metal be too hard for a barrel in slug form?
