    Threadlock for scope turret screws

The Hawke scope I recently got has two tiny Philips head screws holding the turret adjustment knobs to the scope. They shoot loose in a stupidly short time on a springer. Is it OK to use blue threadlock on them?

JB Weld saves the day. Again.

I have an inexpensive 4x6 belt/6 inch disc sander that is many years old. The drive pulley is polymer and is fitted to the drive axle with a spline. The pulley teeth stripped out and rendered the machine useless. The pulley is out of production so I cleaned everything up with a wire brush and...

    Changes in RWS 34 T05-T06

I had a chance to use a friend's 34 today. His is marked 2017. Mine was purchased sometime between 2005-2010 to the best of my recollection. His fore stock is approximately 3 inches longer and is much better for shooting from a rest. His sights are fiber optic and superior to my plain iron...

    Accessing RWS Lifetime Warranty

I did a search here and with Google and can't seem to find information about this warranty and who services it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Has anyone attempted to use it successfully? Thanks.

Tuning an RWS 34 for the first time

What would be the benefit of installing a tuning kit like this in real world terms? The only thing I've done is replace the breech seal and lubricate. Is it going to provide $80 of value? Assist in extending lifespan? https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/251488/2514146.htm I...

    Bug Buster Killer

Three weeks ago I posted my first thread on AGN about accuracy problems with a RWS 34 .177. Eventually with suggestions from AGN members I tracked it down to a failed 3-9x UTG Bugbuster scope that was probably 15 years old or so. I sent the scope back to Leapers and they determined it was...

    Vortek Site Down

I ordered and paid for breech seals on July 7 or 8 and never received any acknowledgement from the company. I went back today to check my order and the website is apparently down "for maintenance". I know that happens but considering I never received acknowledgement of the order it makes me a...

    RWS 34 accuracy issues

I have a 34 that is probably 15 years old. Maybe 1000 pellets fired. UTG Bugbuster 3-9 AO scope. Always accurate and dependable for pests until a few days ago. Suddenly missing starlings. On paper the shots group but the groups wander. This follows a strange cycle. At 50 feet from a rest I get...
