    One shot, one kill

"Most of my year-round work gets handled with small bores, but when it’s time to drop the hammer—especially on the bigger pests that demand reach, precision, and reliable energy dump—I reach for my .308 Texan. It’s tuned for 150 grain semi-flat nose boat tails running at 990 fps, paired with a...

AEA AEA 357 Challenger at the range.

It was a great day for target shooting with the AEA .357 Challenger side lever using some heavy 214gr lead I had just taken up space since I have gone to BARS 150gr. This powerhouse performed impressively even at 140 yards, hitting a 3/8-inch steel target and an 8-inch gong at 100 yards both...

Filtering the Input vs. the Output of the Compressor!

This topic, I feel, is one that rarely comes up, and it's the first time I've ever thought about it. Thank you for highlighting this important step for all of us. I will be using the Tuxing 4500 psi for an example if someone like myself wants to give this a try? At the bottom i will list the...

N/A My biggest aggravation in PCP guns ..so far..

Before you totally give up, have you tried a barrel band from here, they are the only ones I use. https://blackartsdesign.com/ solid solution, especially for your Avenge X. They offer purpose-built bands that are engineered to...

    Reticle $

Not all the scopes I have bought were illuminated but as a hunter I think it's a great option, cloudy days or in the woods or even at night with a green or red light. I have since moved on to digital day/night scopes for many reasons.

Coyote hunting from a blind setup.

This year I will be making full use of the swivel shooting table. Last year shooting tethered limited me to the length of the air line and tank resting on a tote I would have to bring. I...

    Which chronograph?

In short, one you don't have to put down range. I think there's a lot of us that have accidentally shot our chronographs.

What qualifies as a quality post

    > “Retired and rambling? That’s fair—I’ve earned the time and the miles. But let’s not forget, I started exactly where a lot of folks here did: green, curious, and hungry to learn. Back then, it was the old-school crew who took time to explain why a POI shift at 75 yards mattered or how to tune...

Golf cart to have a different job

I have found a way that's very effective and very comfortable while still being tethered to a 6.8 cf tank. This is a mockup. The tank bag is mounted under the table; this will allow me to swivel (the seat and table swivel 360 degrees) to each of the windows.;)

Golf cart to have a different job

I have an update on the golf cart matched with a tri-pod inside my 3-4 man blind. Once I had it and the tri pod in the blind I could see its limitations. 1) The cart takes up a lot of room. 2) When sitting limited range of motion on a tri-pod from 2 or 3 windows, your fixed at one window.
