I'm looking for a good pistol for coon hunting at night. I'm used to using a Mark IV or M&P .22 compact. I would like a good 10-15 shots per fill with plenty of power. It'll need to fit a light and potentially a red dot and need to be relatively light. Any suggestions?

I'd go with the .30 cal. I have an FX Impact M3 chambered in .30 and it shoots perfectly flat at 50 yards or less, and 4" low at 75 yards, but groups at ¾". If your going for anything other than the head or jugular on a deer you may want the .35 tho. I personally hunt mainly varmints and...
