I too have the FX Crown on my list as well as the the RAW HM1000X. Both fine guns. From daily to less frequent larger more expensive purchases been trying to support American Made companies so the RAW has the upper hand.

Thanks for the FX Hybrid slug tip. Mature Ground Squirrels are about the size of Fox Squirrels, the youngins are quite small though. Did the slug exit that squirrel? Great videos!

Need to get a slug compatible gun. My Benjamin Marauder shooting 21.14 H&N Barracuda passes through ground squirrels. Wondering if slugs would do a better job of energy dump limiting exit velocity.

My main pest control shooting is for ground squirrels. Prefer the pcp rifle for its quiet shot so not to alert the next target. For longer distant shooting the rim fire .22 mag does the job. Nice to have both options.

Here in California any hunting with traditional powder burner fire arms must use lead free ammo. However, with air guns lead is allowed, for now at least.

Since I only have one air gun at this time it's a Benjamin Marauder .22 syn. Looking to add a rifle with 100+ yard capability.
