    HUBEN K1 for field target ?

    I have owned two Huben K1's. I wouldn't think it would make a good FT gun because: It doesn't come in .177, and, being a bull pup design, the trigger is definitely not match quality. Not even close. The K1's are great for what they do and are for. Which is, unbelievable power, great...

    New FT rifle /scope suggestion

    +1 for the Sighton S3 10-50 x60 on a RAW TM1000 . New, the combo is about $3,500. But hey, $500 over budget isn't that bad is it?!! ;)

    I'm liking this indoor idea. We had a Silouhette match in CT two weekends ago and froze our butts off. Shaking body due to cold is definitely another interesting variable in the offhand position!!

    Reading the wind

    +1 for the string. Another thing that I find helpful is waiting for the wind to blow from a direction and speed that I have confidence on reading that day. This confidence could come from getting a sense of it in sight in. Or, perhaps from a couple of far taget knock downs on the first couple...
