I dont even currently have a air rifle to cast for yet but I am trying to gain knowledge on the topic. I currently cast for several firearms. I am curious as to why you would gas check for a air rifle Thank you

Yes we shoot field target at the oakdale gun club at least once a month and always on the second Saturday of the month. There is a Facebook page just search MAFTA
3 years after my first post on airgun nation. MAFTA (Minnesota Airgun Field Target) is going strong at Oakdale gun club. I am very great full I found this thread and Uglyjohn for the info. I only wish I found it sooner. There is also a MAFTA facebook page.
I have thought the same thing, heck I even thought about doing it myself. But now own what feels like every pellet. But all my guns like JSB pellets or equivalent other brands the most.
This isn't bragging at all and nor should it ever be taken that way but I did win the Mn state HFT last year with this gun after only owning it for 24 hours. With that being said there wasn't many competitors. @cavedweller mentored me so how could I lose.
The markings on the stock of mine match up to @Frank in Fairfield rifle that is pictured in the cart. This is thing shoots amazing. The guys at my club would love to get their hands on it. They called it the (super gun)
