I also have a coyote issue, but live in the city limits. I bought a Gauntlet .30 (~100FPE) but luckily I'm looking at 40ish yard shots. Haven't shot at one yet but I have taken out some armadillos. As someone else said, shot placement is critical for a humane kill with almost any type gun.

Well I did what Heavy said, dry fired it a bunch in my garage, into an old tennis shoe for a suppressor:). Pressure held, added my sights and sighted it in this afternoon. All seemed to work fine. Have left it with about 2000 psi on it and I'll watch to see if that bleeds down over the next few...

Well I celebrated too soon. After posting this, I left the house for a couple of hours. When I got home, it had bled down to 2000 psi. I guess it's going back to Umarex next week.
