    Hawke Vantage on springer?

Well I'm gonna try the Vantage and see how it goes. Getting a gently used one for a good price, I figure why not. I'll report back

    Hawke Vantage on springer?

Does anyone know if the Hawke Vantage 4-12x40 AO Mil Dot (14141) has an etched reticle? It is non-IR but I would think a Mil Dot would have to be etched?

    Hawke Vantage on springer?

I was considering a Hawke Vantage 4-12x40 AO Mil Dot reticle scope for my .177 Beeman R9 which has been tuned to 13.5 fpe. The manufacturer says the scope is not recommended for springers with more than 12 fpe. With my gun being tuned, it is much smoother than stock. Am I foolish to try this...

    Seeking first quality airgun

Thanks everyone for sharing your insights and experiences. This thread taught me a lot. I found and purchased a tuned .177 Beeman R9 with Williams Target Aperture sights here on the forum classifieds, just perfect for what I am looking for. I will report back once I receive it! Thanks again

    Let's talk about Hold sensitivity

Yes I'm beyond excited! Jason was awesome to deal with, wonderful guy and a fountain of great knowledge he shared with me. I also spoke to Mike at Flying Dragon who was the original dealer and the one who tuned it. He pointed out that the warranty is fully transferable and he'll stand behind it...

I got lucky and found it here on the classifieds and it even has the Williams Target Aperture sights on it that I want (and that you recommended). Talk about finding the perfect first springer. It ships today... I'm still pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming!

    Let's talk about Hold sensitivity

Well I’m ready to love it. I think I landed on a good choice with a .177 R9 tuned to 13.5 fpe. I look forward to learning its preferred holds and exploring the results. I have a nice 30 yard range shooting off my deck to experiment with. Now I need to find some spinners or something fun to...

    Let's talk about Hold sensitivity

I love the traditional wood and metal break barrel springers, have been researching them and have gravitated to a .177 Weihrach with aperture sights for back yard shooting and some woods carry. I am now ready to purchase a .177 Beeman R9/Weihrach HW95 and have read about hold sensitivity being a...

I am stuck on their order page, it won't accept my standard US address, asking for an additional house number. How did you get past this? Thanks

    Seeking first quality airgun

My shots would be within 20 yards. I am in a neighborhood with houses to the immediate left and right and houses 100 yards from my house facing the rear of my lot. Is velocity the only difference between the HW50S and the HW30S?

    Seeking first quality airgun

Hello all, I am looking to purchase my first quality airgun, and I would like to pick up something used that could be considered "heirloom quality" for use dispatching nuisance Starlings that have invaded my property. These birds are very aggressive, constantly clucking when I am around and...
