Your Valve stem is definitely broke. As to the other issue with the air tube I can't say.

I have a 500cc best fittings bottle in excellent that I will sell cheaper than the fx 480 your looking at and what foster coupler cost $225. The bottle adapter comes with the male foster fitting. Point being you can adapt to a bottle cheaper than what your quoting. Might as well add a plenum...

Try dry firing it a few more times. It might take five or more shots.

Ordered my .25 cal Maverick Sniper from SPAW. Took 6 weeks. UTAH Airguns said it would be at least 3 months probably longer if I ordered thru them. When I emailed Ken towards the end of May Ken said that if I ordered then , I would have it by July. Placed order and had it the second week of July.

I have one in stock in my safe. Try Ken Hicks at SPAW he seems to get restocked quicker than most. I got mine through him a month ago. Took about 6 weeks from the time I ordered.

It is the same as the MK3 WILDCAT. Owners manual shows how to adjust.
