Corny, Thanks for the input! Nice to hear about other Southpaws experiences. I did note that you said "used to own". Did you encounter issues, or just get bored and move on to something else?

Gerry52, Your opinion is appreciated and respected! I will look at your suggestions for sure. I fully understand what you are saying. I am not too put off by tinkering. I started working on air guns as a teenager, though they were much simpler back then, and probably not too relevant to...

Rangur1 Thanks for the response! I am still in the process of trying to figure out what I want/need. I am not locked into anything as yet, and will certainly look at your suggestions! That said, my life experience is that I am better off going for high end stuff. Just a few too many...

Biohazardman, A lot of good info there. I was totally unaware of the Chinese compressors, and it seems that for the money, they are worth taking a look at! A bit of trouble finding the newer digital ones for sale though! Good catch on the Titan. I checked the Element site, and they say it...

Your point is well taken. I know that the cocking lever is reversible on the Mk III, and sort of assumed that the loading port was as well! Something else to research!! The gun does pop up when I do a search for left handed PCP on sellor's websites, so I may have made an assumption not...

Thanks for the reply! I can't agree more with your statement about glass. Though most of my experience is with powder burners, I learned long ago that a good scope is usually more important than the gun it goes on! Not familiar with the Yong Heng compressor. I think I want a portable...

Thank you for that! Information on bipods and the differences is sort of hard to come by. That helps a lot!

Thanks for the response. Everything I have read indicates that filling a 480cc tank ceases to become fun in relatively short order. Being older, and "full bodied" I think I will be better off with a portable compressor. BUT, I have no personal experience

Brent, I am looking! The idea of keeling over with a heart attack on top of a hand pump holds very little appeal to me. Really do appreciate your taking the time to respond! Thanks

I really appreciate the input! As you note, it is a signifigant chunk of change, and I am not nearly done with my research! Words of wisdom in that last sentence!! Thanks!

I am an older shooter, whose air gun experience has been with A Daisy 25, Crossman 105, Crossman 140 and Crossman 130 . Most of which was more years ago than I care to remember. At any rate, I have recently become intrigued with PCP rifles for relatively short range pest control, and...
