You have the 3rd variant of the 760. Made from 1974-75. It is a self-cocking gun. I have all of the self cocking variants and all use a roll pin. My guess would be someone couldn't get the roll pin out and maybe drilled it and came up with a home-made solution. (?) Good luck.
