FWB FWB 300 .....anyone else have one?

Most of my shooting is at 25 yards or less and generally off of some kind of rest. For the pest control I use it for Super Domes or Super Points work the best and are very accurate.

FWB FWB 300 .....anyone else have one?

I have the same gun in the same condition. I'm in my middle 70's and have been shooting and working on airguns since the 1960's. Out of all the airguns I've owned this Mini is going nowhere. It is still more accurate than I am and used throughout the spring and summer to keep Starlings and...

Let's play you only keep 2 springers.

Too much spring slows the gun???

Years ago I would remove coils from the RWS 34 springs. The velocity would climb and I would keep removing coils until it dropped back to the starting point. The shot cycle was much smoother after doing that.

Increasing fps on single stroke smooth bore bb rifles.

Plenty of discussion on modifying the Daisy BB guns here. https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/putting-a-little-more-power-in-a-15-00-daisy.807316/

It is so easy to forget how much fun springers are

Been into airgunning since the early 60's. The last few years mostly shooting an FWB-300 mini without any thought of looking back. Then one day I saw where a place had several older BSA Meteors with a couple in .177. I'd had one years ago in .22 and felt it to be underpowered for any distances...

Flea market find Crosman Model 1 rifle

NICE find! The hardwood stock is a big plus. Years ago I would replace the original barrels with one from a 2260 and they became a real tack driver.

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

Thank you for checking. There's no rush and if you can't locate it that's fine. Just thought it would be nice to have one.

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

Yours is a very nice looking gun. I see that it has the cocking lever instead of the bolt. Does it cock when opening or closing? Do you have the degassing tool with yours? I need to make one for mine and would like to know how long the the small pin is if you don't mind. Thanks for any help...

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

Thanks Shayne. The gun weighs 7.1 lbs. with a small scope. That's 3.4 lbs lighter than the FWB-300 mini I've been shooting but still heavy enough to be stable. It was made in China and imported by Compasseco who sold out to Pyramid Air as I understand it. I haven't shot it enough to know the...

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

I recently purchased a CO2 gun and wanted to let you folks in on what it is as promised. Years ago I owned several of the QB's in including one of the first imported by Tim at Mac1. One of them was a QB-79 from Archers and it was a nice accurate gun and can be shot on one cylinder. I found a...

    Springers for sparrows

English House Sparrows and Starlings do not have long life expectancies around here. They are both known to compete with our native birds for nesting sights and will actually kill some. We have been hosting Purple Martins for over 30 years and every year it's a battle to keep these two invasive...

Any Regrets? (Airguns you wish you hadn’t sold)

I've owned 3 TAU-200's over the years and regret not having kept one of them for now. They are not as accurate as the FWB-300 but close and are so easy to shoot well. If I remember correctly they were getting between 50 and 60 shots out of one 12 gr. cartridge. The ugly duck with a heart of...

    Good riddance

    [WTB] Crosman 187

I would like to buy a Crosman 187 in the later version (safety in the trigger guard) if possible. If it needs to be resealed that's OK. Needs to have a good bore. Thanks for any help you can provide. Chris

Thanks Shayne. It will be interesting to see what turns up.

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

As of right now I'm leaning towards a Crosman 187 in the second variation. Probably going to take awhile to find one but that's OK. Living out here on Buffalo flats finding airguns is a challenge so searching the internet is a must. I'll have to start putting up some want ads on the forums and...

    Single cartridge CO2 airgun

Thanks Tomy. To tell you the truth I'm starting to feel like I'm shopping for shoes for my wife. There are no end of the options out there. I might take a day off to clear my head. After your post I did look at some of the Crosman 2300 conversions and they are pretty impressive. Some of the...
