I like what I have, custom M-Rods and Urbans. Anything beyond that I have plenty of RF powder burners to gap to centerfire rifles. What I would avoid like the plague is springer air rifles, especially so called magnum types.
This thread, like several others of recent, are opinion threads. The OP asked for the quietest and most accurate air rifle and IMO that is not a spring gun. We all give our opinions based on our life experiences. I have discovered PCPs. I appreciate your opinion that you are satisfied with your...
Spring guns are especialy harsh and noisy. The pellet is propelled from the gun by a huge spring and cup that slams into the breech port. That makes noise. Of course, most PCP rifles have a much smaller spring that propels a hammer into the knock off valve which also makes noise. A Maruader with...
I like my 1X4 Nikon African set at 1 power, both eyes open. I use Warne return to zero QR rings for reversion to iron sights. One of a dozen or so Marlins I have, a GBL in .45-70.
I shot the stock over with 2K matte clear. It was developing a nice patina but now it will wear like iron. The M-Rod was a hydrodip Veil by myself and shot over with 2K matte clear. Not sure about camo other than on the stock. I do have some closely matching self cling camo tape I do use and it...
This fellow is probably hoping you have a digital scope in need of a software upgrade or a dead battery about to quit. He is also probably thinking of how tasty and crunchy you might be. Of course, electronic optics are being used in combat. But the refresh rate, that bear is moving really...
Did you read the context from previous posts. I never said a water buffalo and a .25 air gun was ethical. You are making extrapolations. I did say and will say that for my purposes I find spring guns unethical for the animals I hunt which does not include water buffs. You are now blocked along...
Benjamin Marauder .30 side lever with 3600 psi aluminum tube and options for bottle with standard, carbine and tactical models, sub 7 pounds.. Redesigned valve, regulated option, larger TP.
You are just being silly (n). Every hunter decides for themselves what is sporting and what is not and what is ethical and what is not. Your springs guns, none of them, meet my criteria no matter how much you whine about my choices. They are my choices. You do you. I will do me. Springer vs...
1. Yes, maybe. 2. Yes. Especially at shooting distance. 3. I do not eat them, just use their pelts and they are best in late fall. 4. Yes. No. Maybe. Rural yes, urban, no, in between maybe but probably not.
I had a barrel disappear and then show up. Had a gun disappear and then show up. Sold some scuba gear and it went to Limbo and then arrived late. Bought a electronic item from the country of Georgia and it tracked to the USPS where it then disappeared for 4 months and then was delivered after...
eBay. Are links allowed here? The seller was dadr-232. I had him custom print for me because the barrel to shroud distance is different with the high rise JSAR breech. There are several makers selling similar items who can probably custom print with a larger gap. Now, let me say, I care nothing...
Similar here. My M-Rod .25 Super Light, JSAR balanced valve, hammer, TSS/SSG, aluminum reservoir, side lever high breech, Tim Hill carbine length shroud, Tim Hill gauge block, custom TP, Huma regulator and it's little brother, the 3622:
Well, just be sure to let none of them bite or even scratch you and especially the grandson. Or say hello to rabies vaccination. Not even the tiniest of tiny scratches! Opossums generally are not a rabies vector due to their slightly lower body temperature. Neither are armadillos nor typically...
The M-Rods with aluminum air tubes do not really ping, it is more of a thunk. With a reg there is nothing to deping. Aluminum tubes are just so quiet in comparison to the steel tubes that ring like a bell.
No, not really. You will need a compressor, YH, CX4 or similar. Or a 65cf 4500 psi bottle that has the DOT stamp and current certs and a local scuba shop with 4500 psi banked air.
